Visitor Information
Family and friends are essential to the recovery process.

Visiting
Friends and family are always welcome to visit. For the safety of our clients and staff, visitors need to sign in and out at the Nurses Station and follow any current safety protocols. We recommend that people visit between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. This allows staff and clients time to address activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating) and provides for appropriate rest and quiet time for all of our clients. Our staff will be happy to arrange alternative visiting hours to accommodate work schedules or special needs.

Therapy Observation
Encouragement from one’s Circle of Support can be a critical component of the rehabilitation process. We encourage you to support your loved one by attending therapy sessions. To learn about a patient’s rehabilitation schedule or to coordinate a visit, talk with your Case Manager or one of our therapists who will be glad to help. Please note that all visitors must adhere to our current visitor guidelines for health and safety.

Visits Home
If you wish to arrange a visit home with your family, talk with your Case Manager who will help you with scheduling, medication, and transportation. It can be challenging to travel home and learn to negotiate an environment very different from the NeuroCare Center. Visits home for weekends or special events are referred to as a Leave of Absence (LOA). In order to arrange this, we will need to make sure the patient is medically stable, has guardian permission (where applicable), and has approval from their physician.
